Sunraysia Institute of TAFE (SuniTAFE) was established in 1980 to provide quality educational services to students living in the regions. SuniTAFE is has significant experience connecting remote learners and continues to provide accessible and quality training that leads to employment outcomes. In 2019 SuniTAFE was named Australia’s number one Large Training Provider by the Australian Government (Australian Training Awards).

SuniTAFE’s speciality fields are in horticulture and agriculture, transport and logistics, and health and community services. This expertise matches the local skills needs of the community and aligns with significant industry growth and technological innovation globally.

The following courses can all be completed 100 per cent online.
Accounting provides opportunities for study towards an Australian qualification, or alternatively as a short course skill set to gain entry directly to a diploma level.
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping FNS40217 (099418M)
- Diploma of Accounting FNS50217 (099419K)
- Advanced Diploma of Accounting FNS60217 (099420F)
- Accounting Principles Skill Set FNSSS00014
After completing either the Certificate IV or the Accounting Principles Skills Set courses, international students can apply to study the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Accounting onshore.
SuniTAFE also offers short courses in engineering design focused on Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) with industrial applications.
The Essential Farm Worker training delivers practical work readiness information and an induction to the horticulture industry.
SuniTAFE teachers are experienced at providing personalised support to students studying online, ensuring they understand the course content and assessment requirements.
Assessments are completed via the SuniConnect learning platform, where online students can also access academic and study skills support. The international team is on hand for advice and support, both during course selection and throughout the study journey.
