Learning how to start a business is no small task, but it’s necessary if you want to successfully get your venture off the ground. Hear about what you will need to consider to penetrate the market successfully, how to best read the current economic climate and get more qualified leads.

Daniel Tan is a Marketing and video expert, having started two digital marketing agencies called Pencil Rocket and more recently Vimi (an end-to-end video production workflow solution)Recently, Daniel was a winner of the Study Melbourne Future Founders Venture Scholarships, for standing out as an ambitious entrepreneur.  This award and grant will support the growth of Vimi and the exciting projects they have in the pipeline.

So how do you start your own business? Daniel will cover this question and provide an insight into:

  • Why he was motivated to start his own business.
  • Tools he used to support his transition to becoming a business owner.
  • How he worked through his business model to provide a scalable, affordable and effective product.
