Welcome to the new series empowering international student leaders across Melbourne, the Study Melbourne Leadership Labs!

Study Melbourne would like to invite you to take part in an exciting new initiative – Study Melbourne Leadership Labs – which will support the empowerment and leadership skills of emerging and future international student leaders, to ensure the student voice is heard and celebrated.

Between May and June of 2020, you will have the opportunity to participate in 12 Leadership Labs, all while connecting with a community of motivated international students who are all studying in Melbourne. As you work through the topics, you will not only learn the skills and mindsets of effective leaders, but be exposed to exciting ways to apply the learning in the real-world, and how to leverage these new skills to increase your employability and aid in your career journey.

This initiative will be launched on Friday 8 May and will run until the end of July covering a range of leadership topics including reslience and wellbeing, volunteerism, social impact and entreprenuerialism – just to name a few.

The Study Melbourne Student Ambassadors will also participate through webinars and other special events, and it is our hope that the Labs will become a premium student experience that connects and stengthens networks across Victoria, through co-design and a partnership approach.
