For Industry

The Victorian Government has established a global network of Study Melbourne Hubs in key international education markets to support the sector’s long-term growth and recovery.

The Hubs sit alongside the Victorian Government’s existing network of Trade and Investment offices. Each Hub will support international students currently studying online offshore, as well as prospective students, to provide a shared, physical location for students to study collectively.

The Study Melbourne Hubs will also be available for Victorian education sector stakeholders (i.e. education providers, educators and EdTech companies) to organise and hold different activities and events to support student and international partner engagement.

For students

The Study Melbourne Hubs are a physical space to support international students (current, future and alumni) studying with a Victorian education provider. Use of the Hubs is completely free. In some locations the Hub will be offered virtually initially due to COVID restrictions.

The Hub provides:

  • events and activities designed to enhance employment options, social connection, and student empowerment, including access to Study Melbourne programs delivered virtually
  • study spaces and meeting rooms (including free Wi-Fi, coffee and water facilities) for offshore students who are enrolled with a Victorian education provider and are studying online
  • help to connect support services and programs for enrolled students offered by each Victorian education provider
  • prospective students with information and tips on choosing Melbourne, Victoria as a study destination.

Please share the Study Melbourne Hubs page with your student networks for information about the latest events and support services.
