Edward

My name is Edward and I interned at the DeHeng Law Offices in Chengdu, China, and I was a paralegal there.

How has the internship prepared you for your career?

The internship has prepared me to transition into the workplace by equipping me with the soft and hard skills that are required of a legal graduate.

Tell us about living in China?

My favourite thing about living in China? There are so many, I have to say specifically because I was in Chengdu, Sichuan, which is arguably the food capital of China, it was the wonderful food, all the restaurants, the nightlife and the markets it was really a wonderful place to be living. I would love to live there again!

Would you recommend the program?

I would definitely recommend the program to students in the future being able to live in a different country and experiencing the working environment of one of Australia’s preeminent training partners is such a valuable skill.
