Health

The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services website provides information and advice for international students in English and Simplified Chinese.

If you are in Victoria and you think you may have the coronavirus please call the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) on 1300 651 160.

Education

It’s important that you keep in touch with your education provider for information.

Travel and student visas

On 1 February 2020 the Australian Government announced changes that impact travel to and from China. Until further notice international students who are seeking to leave, or have transited through, mainland China will not be able to enter Australia.

Accommodation and employment

Consumer Affairs Victoria has information for students whose accommodation in Victoria has been impacted by the coronavirus.
