For international students who choose to study in regional locations across Victoria, there are many scholarships available to support your studies, including Destination Australia scholarships. International graduates from a regional campus may also be able to receive longer post-study work rights.
Destination Australia Scholarships
Destination Australia Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government, and they are offered by educational institutions and providers in regional locations across Victoria.
The aim of the Destination Australia Program is to attract and support international and domestic students to study in regional Australia, to grow and develop regional Australian tertiary education providers and offer students a high-quality learning experience.
In Victoria, over 300 scholarships have been provided to nine educational providers across 16 campus locations. Scholarships are valued at $15,000 per student, per year, and will be available for students undertaking a Certificate IV through to PHD. Students must maintain ongoing residency in regional Australia to be eligible, as well as commence their studies in the 2020 academic year.
Students who are interested in applying for a Destination Australia Scholarship can do so directly with their preferred eligible provider.
