Well Fed at the Study Melbourne Hub

Proudly supported by Study Melbourne, the Just Food Collective invites all international students to attend Well Fed at the Study Melbourne Hub. This initiative provides free food, healthy diet information, and community connections for international students. Think a bowl of delicious food, a sweet treat and a hot drink! There will also be groceries to take-home too. Spaces are limited and registration is essential. This event will be held every 2nd Friday.

Francis Stagg from Jobwatch, will answer common questions about work, including wages, underpayment, gig work, contracts, working with an ABN, and unfair dismissal. Get helpful advice about what to expect from your employer, from job advertisements through to wages and conditions.

Right Start program: Free employment consultations (Monday to Friday)

Are you looking for work? Right Start is a free confidential program that helps international students with questions about working in Victoria, such as pre-employment paperwork, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and job searching. Drop in and speak to the Migrant Workers Centre team at the Study Melbourne Hub. Come on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 1:00pm-4:15pm or on Thursday, Friday 10:00am-4:15pm. No appointment necessary.
