International Student Employment and Accommodation Legal Service (ISEALS) is for international students is free, independent and confidential, allowing you to speak with a lawyer about any employment or accommodation concerns. If you want to make an appointment or find out more, please contact our friendly staff by email at info@studymelbourne.vic.gov.au or call 1800 056 449.
  2. Jobs Victoria offers support for international students with resources and tools to start working.
  3. Visit Jobs Victoria Mentors for Mentor services to receive support to gain employment available to international students until 30 June 2022.
  4. GradAustralia helps students find graduate positions and internships. They also produce the eBook Australia's Top 100 Graduate Employers, available for download from their website.
  5. To learn more about opportunities to volunteer, other people's journeys in volunteering, and other useful tips, read the page For Volunteers.
  6. Read the Fair Work Ombudsman fact sheet for international students about rights in the workplace.
  7. If you have a job in Australia you are entitled to receive the right pay and work conditions. Fairwork Australia has a calculator on their website that you can use to check what your employer should pay you.
