Well Fed at the Study Melbourne Hub

Proudly supported by Study Melbourne, the Just Food Collective invites all international students to attend Well Fed at the Study Melbourne Hub. This initiative provides free food, healthy diet information, and community connections for international students. Think a bowl of delicious food, a sweet treat and a hot drink! There will also be groceries to take-home too. Spaces are limited and registration is essential. This event will be held every 2nd Friday.

Work Ready Program: Free employment consultations Work Ready Program: Free employment consultations (Monday to Friday)

Are you looking for work? Work Ready is a free in-person one-on-one confidential program supported by Study Melbourne and delivered by Migrant Workers Centre at the Study Melbourne Hub. The program helps international students with questions about working in Victoria, such as pre-employment paperwork, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and job searching. Come and drop in to have a chat with Migrant Workers Centre team every Monday to Friday afternoons from 1–4:15pm at the Study Melbourne Hub. No appointment required.

Tax help centre

Do you need help with your tax return? Study Melbourne will be a Tax Help Centre to help you lodge your tax returns for the financial year 2024 - 2025. The program is open from 21st July 2025 to 31st October 2025 and will provide 1-hour appointments to help international students who have a Tax File Number (TFN) and earned $70,000 or less. Students with an Australian Business Number (ABN) are not eligible for this service. For general information, visit ATO Tax Help Program. Please register with MyGov, then contact the Study Melbourne Hub for an appointment.

Welcome Fiesta at the Study Melbourne Hub

We invite you to this special event at the Hub to welcome international students and celebrate the vibrant Latin cultures. There will be a quiz, fun dance routines and craft activities such as making flags or decorating carnival masks. Snacks will be provided. The event welcomes students from all cultural backgrounds. This event is free, but spaces are limited, RSVP now to secure your spot!
