Monica studied English at Kangan Institute to improve her English level. She gained the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score needed to study a Master of Engineering Science (Major Electronical and Electronic) at Swinburne University of Technology. Monica wants to continue to help and support other international students who choose to come to study in Melbourne.

Melbourne has really, really good institutions and universities for studying English or Masters, or anything. This was the most important.
This award means a lot of things for me, because right now I am very emotional and I feel so happy.
My friends, my family, my husband and a lot of people around me encouraged me [to believe] that I can achieve a lot of things.
