To me, Melbourne is ...

Melbourne is one of the cities in Australia. And guess what? I have travelled to other countries, and still, I find Melbourne is the greatest and the most beautiful cities in the world.

Firstly, let me talk about why I love Melbourne. I have been in this city for about five years and until now it is still exceptional. Melbourne has been named six times in a row as the most liveable city in the world. Not because of how much profit they make, it is because of how creative the city is.

In culture perspective, as everyone knows Melbourne is a diverse city where they respect each other’s differences. Not only that, in the CBD, there are different areas dominated by different cultures. For example, if you would like to experience Chinese culture, there is China Town in Little Bourke St ready for you to explore or Italian culture in Lygon Street Carlton with extremely good pasta or pizza and great hospitality.

Moreover, Melbourne is home to a lot of well-known events. The Australian Open is  held around January and is one of the biggest with thousands of international visitors coming to see the Tennis game. Furthermore, The Grand Prix formula 1, it is a car racing event and located along the banks of Albert Park Lake. This event attract a lot of European and Asian visitors coming to Melbourne and alongside with Moomba festival, where Melbourne comes alive with the Fireworks, light shows and a cheers for the water skiing competitions.

Last but not least the ART. Melbourne is an art city, bursting with art shows and exhibitions at large museums such as the National Gallery of Victoria named as one of the oldest galleries in Australia with their largest collection of paintings and drawings. White night attracts more than few thousands of people waking up the whole night and enjoying the arts projection and music alongside with Hosier Lane where it is famous for its street art.

In conclusion, no other city can replace Melbourne as the best city in my heart and I know I will love it more and more every single day.
