Study Melbourne, with the Victorian Department of Education and regional tertiary education providers, participated in the 2024 China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET) in Beijing and Shanghai last month.
CIEET, a key national education event, is organized by the China Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange under the Chinese Ministry of Education. Building on the success of the previous year, Study Melbourne collaborated with Victorian universities to attend this year's exhibitions in Beijing and Shanghai.
Representatives from Monash University, La Trobe University, and RMIT University joined forces at the Study Melbourne booth. Both events in attracted substantial interest from prospective students and parents, and institutions seeking to establish transnational projects.
In conjunction with the exhibitions, Study Melbourne Hub Shanghai hosted a networking function, drawing attendance from over 20 Chinese universities. Victorian education providers, including Deakin University, La Trobe University, and Monash University, actively engaged in networking, fostering connections with potential Chinese partners for future collaborations.
