Study Melbourne hosted a delegation of education agents from North Asia from 4 to 8 September, providing a firsthand experience of Victoria’s high-quality Vocational Education and Training institutes (TAFEs), as well as a taste of the premium student experience offered across Melbourne and Victoria’s vibrant, welcoming and safe communities.

The 17 agents from across Japan and South Korea spent 5 days in Melbourne with the program including tours of TAFE campuses, learning about Victoria’s vocational education system, experiencing a barista coffee course, travelling around the city on trams, taking the V-Line to Geelong, a progressive dinner through Melbourne’s laneways, watching an AFL Finals game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and a visit to the Study Melbourne Hub on Hardware Lane.

This delegation was part of Study Melbourne’s Lead Generator Program, a series of inbound and outbound international education missions in 2023 and 2024 showcasing Melbourne as a world leading study destination.
