Chinese heritage in Bendigo
In the 1850s, the gold rush in Bendigo attracted many Chinese people to the area to mine for gold.
The Golden Dragon museum celebrates Chinese heritage with a colourful display of Chinese symbolism, social history, goldfield history and Chinese dragons.
The museum is open every day except for Christmas day and offers tours in English and Mandarin.
